Months will alternate Black, White and Khaki Colors or Navy, White and Khaki Colors.
Accent colors will be as follows each month until further notice:
Week 1: Light Blue (meaning anything but very dark or navy) Week 2: Red Week 3: Purple Week 4: Light Green (again meaning anything but very dark) Week 5: Pink
These guidelines simplify and unify the platform look and give you a better understanding of what is expected as a platform volunteer.
The colors are family-based. -In other words, PINK includes pink, coral, salmon, etc. -Purple include both light and dark purple. -Light blue (meaning not navy) includes french blue, light blue, and anything in between.
Brown is an option on navy days. That means you can wear brown jackets, pants, shirts and socks.
SPECIFICS FOR MEN
Suit Colors Preferred:
-Black (Gray), Navy, Brown or Tan (Khaki) -White (or weekly color) dress shirt -Conservative Tie (no cartoons or large designs) -Dress shoes (black, brown, cordovan) -Brown shoes don’t work with black pants
If not a Suit: -Black, Navy, or Tan (Khaki) blazer / sport coat (not required, but encouraged) -White (or weekly color) dress shirt -Conservative Tie (no cartoons or large designs) very small patterns are acceptable -Black, Navy, or Tan (Khaki) pants. Dress slacks or khakis are acceptable -Dress shoes or nice business casual shoes are acceptable
SPECIFICS FOR WOMEN
Dresses or skirts, at the knee or below; no high slits No spaghetti straps; no low cut, sheer or revealing shirts, blouses or dresses. Dress slacks or khakis are acceptable Dress shoes or nice business casual shoes are acceptable
